Car Fire With Coalton
May 13.  Just before 1100hrs, E1906 was responded with 4 FFs to a vehicle fire just inside 1200's area.  E6 arrived just as E1203 was getting the first water on the fire.  Crews had the fire knocked down quickly, but the fuel cell ruptured and the heat from the vehicle ignited the gasoline.  FFs had to use a dry chemical extinguisher and foam to get the fire contained.  E6 helped Coalton units get their rig back in service before clearing about 45 minuts later.  We've had a very slow month so far, but that may change quickly with the hot dry weather of the past few days!
